Good-bye to our current website and welcome to Stage 1 of the New Vernon Yacht Club Website!

We have had great use of our past website and are moving on to a new Vernon Yacht Club Website that features the same great information from our current and past contributors and developers plus a few extra features. The new website is more user friendly offering those leading different departments an opportunity to communicate activities, news and events to our members.

The Vernon Yacht Club Website is being developed and created by a local agency: Sproing Creative. VYC’s Terry Rudersdorfer and I have been communicating with Sproing’s Heath Fletcher on this project and with several of his seven colleagues. Terry’s input, expertise and technical abilities are essential to many years of our VYC website’s performance, updates and technical repairs and the next site is only possible with his help and knowledge. The Executives, Chairs and Staff heading different departments applicable to pages on this site, have been asked for input and corrections and are very helpful in their responses.

Stage 2 of our new VYC website involves input of the Sailing Statistics, past and present, all sailing activities including all the Okanagan Regatta information plus membership Log-in capabilities. More details to follow on the membership log-in features.
