Vernon Yacht Club Sailing Fleet

The sailing fleet’s weekly racing season starts the Wednesday after Crane Day in April at 6:15pm and ends the 4th Sunday in October with races starting at 1pm. The season starts with races on Wednesday evenings at 6:15pm and switches to Sundays at 1pm at the beginning of August. The racing fleet has 20 plus boats and there is a crew list for those interested in teaming up with a boat. This page is for annual sailing fleet information and will be updated as the season starts.

Pamela Miller has acquired the services of Sailing Instructor extraordinaire Peter Lutsch for the “ground school” portion of the training on Feb 24th and Mar 2nd. Way to go Pamela! Now we just need your help for the on the water portion of the training. We need boats and skippers. This “water” school takes place on Saturday mornings and afternoons on the following dates: May 4th, May 11th, May 18th, and  May 25th.
